Taking it easy, hoping my husband can get over his terrible back pain and
receives the right medication to help him. Been an awful few months lately for
him.
Well I have read every one else's comments. You know it's kind of funny, I lost
my partner this time last year to Leukaemia. I was worried that Christmas and
New Year would mean nothing any more to me, but it did. I have the best memories
in the world, and that kept me going. You see there was only him and me, plus
our cat and local birds. Our families argued to much and then just stoped
talking at all. I have a few distant relatives and a son that wont speak to me
and my partners two son's stoped talking years ago to each other let alone any
one else. However I had a lovely quiet day and my friends helped to make sure
that I was okay. Trouble is we worry too much about all the car smashes, drunks
etc, but it happens all year long. Wether it's at the Footy, Cricket, Golf or
just at a nite out. You just cannot blame Christmas, or the New Year, because
it's wrong. Next we have Australia Day, Easter, and it just goes on, and so will
the problems. To all many Blessings and a Happy New Year to all. Cheers Mishiee.
Celebrating with family, as I'm sure lots of us are. Nothing more important.
I'm also celebrating with my Livetribe game wins in Nov and Dec! Thanks

Merry Christmas to all the wonderful contributors here. May you all have an
enjoyable break and come safely back to us.
For those who are not into Christmas for religeous or other reasons, I wish you
too the very best of times.
And a HUGE thank you Charlie and his team for the effort put into keeping this
site running. The rewards I've earned here have really helped with gifts! :D

Christmas can be a very stressful time but it is wonderful to see the kids so
excited & anticipating the Xmas morning. Everyone you talk to catches up, even
if you haven't heard from them in a while & family (hopefully) leave some of
their excess baggage to be friends for just one special day. Taking time out is
important & letting things happen instead of making things perfect - Merry Xmas
everyone.
Christmas is a time to celebrate with family & friends & reminisce about
Christmas past & the people who have gone from our lives. A time for reflection
& hope for the future
Going to church in Christmas day and pray and thank God for his gift to us, and
some people celebrate Christmas but they don't know what Christmas means. We
celebrate Christmas because we have a beautiful gift it's JESUS CHRIST that day
is so special to us because we have our survivor Thank you LORD for everything
you love us very much you give us a lot thank you.
Merry Christmas to all, I really do not like the lead up to xmas, the shopping,
the traffic, the parking, people going nuts, the relatives, so i find it a very
stressful time, once xmas day is here i relax at last and enjoy myself but up
until then the nerves are shot! I am actually glad when boxing day arrives I
feel much relief, only 4 sleeps to go, stay safe, lets hope 2014 is a great year
for all!
If this Sydney heat continues I reckon I will be drinking water not alcohol! I
am looking forward to the break and the festivities. I agree with above comment,
if everyone stays alert, and sensible then everyone should have a happy and safe
season. Merry Christmas!
Please Drivers,
Drive safely, defensively and drink only in moderation.
We nearly had an accident last night because a bus midjudged his turning
"circle" and didn't make the corner, stopped suddenly and started reversing as
the driver in the vehicle was reversing to "get out of his way" The driver I was
with blasted his hooter as he was reversing or the front driver's side bonnet
and side panels would have been crushed. Fortunately there was no traffic close
behind us.
