Royal baby

Were you excited about the news about the birth of the royal baby, son of Duchess and Duke of Cambridge? What do you think of the way it was presented in the media, was it all a bit over the top or was it worthy of all the hype and attention it received in the news?

I understand that some people like to hear about a new baby, but if I don't know the people personally I don't understand what all the fuss is about. Kate stands on front steps of hospital, "Wow Kate, You're amazing!" People have done things a lot more impressive after having a baby than standing on the steps of a hospital.

I was happy to hear about the new prince being born - the young royal family are truely the new and positive image of modern English royals. William had to go on maternity leave from his job. He pays Taxes. They seem to be a lovely young family, well deserving of the "media hype". The current living royals are all a reminder of OUR history. History is important and shaped who we are. Congrats and BEST wishes to this family, our future Kings.

Who cares? I could not be bother, she's just a normal woman who give birth with her child, Its not really worth to pay so much attention, they had heaps of money to look after themselves I think there are much more important events that we worth paying attention for, I'm pretty sure the baby is very healthy child as it belongs to a wealthy family as it more supervised with all the people around him b4 he was born, look around you, heaps of other kids is dying due to proverty, diagnoses with so much sickness, there are not enough food to eat, for me should be the one who really needs care and worth paying attention with...

I was very excited about the birth of the new Prince,The royal couple don't have to account to the media( more fool them ) . The media did that for their own financial gain. The Royals owe them nothing especially after the Diana incident.

The arrival of a special little one to any family, brings many blessings and a world of joy. The expectations, and the excitement of what is about to come over the years, as he grows and becomes a man are going to be just amazing. Hopefully he will have a heart and soul just like his late Grandmother Dianna the Peoples Princess had. And I am sure that he will make the Duchess and the Duke of Cambridge very proud. Cheers Mishiee.

I agree, the media hung around the hospital for weeks. When the pregnancy was announced they said how many weeks she was. They should have been able to calculate when the baby was due, and not hang around for weeks for nothing.

I think that it is a new an exciting chapter for the Anzac & English. I think that most New Zealanders are happy to have a new heir. Times are changing. I think we should all embrace the love that new life brings to the world.
